What are the activities and tasks of a UNESCO project school?
It is committed to the achievement of these objectives and enables partnerships and exchanges between different peoples and cultures of the world. The most important principle of the UNESCO project schools is:
"GLOBAL THINKING, LOCAL TRADE"
We are active in the following areas:
- Human rights
- Protect and preserve the environment
- Get to know foreign cultures
- Help people in need
- Poverty and misery
- Preserve and protect the world
- Prevent racism and encourage civil courage
The guiding principles of our UNESCO work are:

- Finding common ground
Due to that it start the UNESCO clubs to the schools all over the world. for example of the schools in Tanzania are:-

Kiluvya secondary school is the one among the UNESCO aspnet schools in Tanzania.It deals with what UNESCO deals, this means that Education, Science and Culture aspects.In kiluvya secondary there is so many other clubs such as FEMA CLUB, TAKUKURU CLUB, TAX CLUB, MATHEMATICS CLUB and UNESCO CLUB. UNESCO club it divided into main five departmants which are Education department, culture department, information and communication technolgy(ICT) department, natural and social science departments. |
Each and every department partcipate in projects which established and also they participate in creating projects to do. |
Also UNESCO club have done so many projects in and out of the school.For example of outside project is international year of chemisry and inside projects are so simple projects such as cleaning our enviroment, gardening and etc, But some time we do project for the all over the world like building a Blog |
Kiluvya secondary school of Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania and Helene lange gymnasium of Hamburg, Germany have a partinership. This partinership it have 8 years now from where it start, the aim of this is to build cooparation between kiluvya secondary school and helene lange gymnasium, in other way we can say Tanzania students and Germany students. This partinership it have so many importants such as:- 1.Development of friendship among different nation. 2.Exchange of culture 3.Learning different skills from outside the country 4.Live in different life style |

Here is a trip done 2012(Students from Kiluvya secondary school,Tanzania Going to Germany, Helene Lange Gymnasium And in those trips they learning so many things and also they visit different areas like Bagamoyo, Mikumi, harbors, etc. |
All of those things UNESCO asp net club at Kiluvya secondary school do it's under a leaders and those leaders who make the club to be stable from where it start. They do work for the club properly and they make sure that every member participate in all club activities in proper manner.
